Advanced Chromatics
The very best thing you can do to develop your ability to play the guitar is to play Chromatic Scales. Mike Singer has developed an effective system for mastering upward and downward finger motions on the guitar strings and frets with what he calls: Ascending/Ascending and Descending/Descending Chromatic Scales. He also refers to them as: "The Golden Scale."
